From April 1, 2017 to September 30, 2017
During my secondment at Mount Allison University (Sackville) in the laboratory of Douglas A. Campbell, I made experiments using the measurement of the Chlorophyll a fluorescence. The aim was to compare the light response of different Haslea species. Three species from different locations were grown : an arctic species (H. vitrea), a French species (H. ostrearia) and an Indonesian species (H. sp.). Results were compared with results obtained with the green algae Chlorella vulgaris. Experiments were discussed with Johann Lavaud (Takuvik, Laval University, Québec city). Results were presented on a poster during the Aquafluo II Colloquium at University of Technology Sydney.
